INFRASTRUCTURE

MCS build road infrastructure including, but not exclusive to, highway upgrades, shared surface streets, car parks and carriageways. We also do Tarmac, concrete structures and can meet any drainage requirements.

EARTHWORKS

Our highly trained team carry out all manner of earthworks on all ground types such as rock, sand to peat, high water tables and contaminated soils. We are well versed in environmental protection measures and have extensive experience with site clearance, bulk cut and fill as well as ground improvement works.

KERBING

Kerbing, footpaths and walkways are services that we offer to both commercial and residential customers. Our practical hands on approach is dictated by a site surveys and pre-planning. We always make sure that we deliver a solution that complies with all current standards and looks just right.

MCS assume responsibility for the supply of all PPE to our team. PPE should be supplied and used in the workplace wherever there are risks to health and safety that cannt be adequately controlled in other ways. Wi-1 – Scottish Power Safety Rule Induction – My Experience

The Wi-1 authorisation allows the holder to work on, or adjacent to, isolated plant or equipment when working on the Scottish Power network. For companies and their contractors who work on the Scottish Power network, gaining this accreditation is essential. Having recently renewed the qualification, I thought I’d take some notes on becoming an authorised person then share the experience with my network.
